An Empath, Intuitive Channel of Divine Energy

Katie’s mother introduced her family to energy work when Katie was 12 years old. That initiation woke up her soul and lit her passion for the Divine. She has since studied with many gifted healers, shamans, and spiritual leaders.

As a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Indiana University, Katie holds degrees in Psychology, Fine Art, and East Asian Studies. She lived and taught in Japan, was a wholistic home chef after moving back to her home town, Toledo, Ohio. In 2000 she moved to Portland, OR intending to study naturopathic medicine.

Therapeutic Body and Energy Work

Through a magical confluence of forces, her plans for medical school took a turn; and she instead became a movement educator and certified Pilates instructor. Thus began her hands-on therapeutic body and energy work in the fitness industry.

Katie has trained hundreds of individuals and groups, incorporating a clear and grounded energetic mind-body focus. Her clients experience an immediate felt connection to their bodies, which provides them a more tangible experience of the energy moving and shifting them.

Flow of Grace

30 years of living in an energy-minded- body led Katie to cultivate and create her own unique brand of energy work, The Flow of Grace. This work is best described as a gentle, yet high voltage current of energy containing the soul’s wisdom channeled into the body. This loving current deeply nourishes and fortifies the body, emotions, and psyche. It efficiently clears out blockages, unwinds outdated patterns and conditioning. Clients feel renewed, clear, connected and aligned, like everything feels right inside and out. Grace guides and flows into each client, as Katie listens to the guiding intelligence of their body and soul.

Artistic Pursuits

After the birth of Katie’s daughter in 2004, Katie took a break from clients to focus on healing her postpartum depression. A therapist suggested she find something to feed her soul. With her beloved partner David’s support and encouragement, she started painting again. Her abstracted spacious landscapes gave her the beautiful views her soul craved but couldn’t quite see from the windows of their urban home.

Within a year, she began exhibiting and selling her work. She quickly gained recognition among collectors and was a featured artist in Oregon Home Magazine. You can see her work here.

Presently, Katie is settling into a new home in New York’s Hudson River Valley. She loves to dive into swimming holes, go on hikes, hug her family, adore her private clients, paint commissioned soul portraits, and volunteer her gifts locally with the Holistic Health Community, and globally on Kaiaulu’s Coherance Council.
